When you at my side

When I talk to you when I’m down, I fell alright

When you say what is to come, I know it will be right

You make my life more enjoyable each and every minute

My friendship with you, I won’t ever, ever  forget it

Unlike others  in the past, I know that you will be

There in my darkest hour, there to help guide me

To put up with me is a lot, my friend, and I know it to be true

Even thought I don’t say it all the time : thank you

Thank you for being  there to be my friend

Thank you for helping me try to comprehend

Thank you for making me feel  happy, loved and needed

Thank you for when you are near, my loneliness is ‘DELETED’

Each time we walk, I keep asking my self if this is true:

How could I be so lucky to have a great friend like you?

I can’t being to try to begin to thank you for all that you have done

If there is anyone I trust anything to : you would be the one

When you are around, all my wounds in my soul begin to mend

For nothing in my world means more to me than you, my best friend  J
